Despite Progressive’s customer-friendly image, it ranked sixth out of nine companies. Nearly 58% of respondents were fully satisfied with the ease of submitting a claim to Progressive, and 57% were fully satisfied with the customer service they received. Approximately 56% expressed full satisfaction with the manner in which their claim was resolved. Progress was not good in the other categories, however, barely 50% of respondents reported being fully satisfied with status updates on claims, and only 44% said they were fully satisfied with the value this insurance company offered.

Nobody’s Opinion: Communication seemed to be another pain point for some clients, “In addition to mishandling my claim, they gave contradictory answers when trying to add my teenage son as a new driver. Even when supervisors asked, we were unable to get a consistent answer.”
Just over 30% of respondents would recommend applying to someone looking for car insurance. In our survey, 39% of progressive clients reported that they are very likely to renew their policy gradually. About 14% are unlikely to be replenished.
